Johnstown Saddle Club Royalty

The Johnstown Saddle Club Royalty has been a valuable asset to the club since it’s inception in 1960. Royalty participates in numerous parades and rodeo grand entry ceremonies across Colorado and Wyoming, as well as all of our western events. Members of Royalty also volunteer their time in various community service projects.

The Johnstown Saddle Club holds annual tryouts for Queen, Attendant, Ambassador and Princess. To be eligible for Queen, a young lady must be between the ages of 14 and 19. To be eligible for Attendant, a young lady must be between the ages of 11 and 16. To be eligible for Princess, a young lady must be between the ages of 8 and 13. To be eligible for Ambassador, a young man must be between the ages of 8 and 19. Candidates should have reached the appropriate age for qualification by January 1st of the annual season and be a member in good standing. The Johnstown Saddle Club Royalty is constantly seeking sponsors to help us make our season a great success. If you are interested in sponsoring the Johnstown Saddle Club Royalty please email us at ride@johnstownsaddleclub.com. In return, the saddle club will advertise all sponsors on our 2008 show schedule.

Meet our current Royalty!

Hi, my name is Megan Mansfield. I am seventeen years old and I live in Loveland, CO. I look forward to proudly representing the Johnstown Saddle Club as the 2008 Queen. I have been riding with the Johnstown Saddle Club for ten years. I am active in Western and English showing and also compete in Gymkhanna events. Participating in these events have given me great experience with horses as well as life. Other than showing horses, I enjoy playing varsity softball for the Thompson Valley Eagles. I also like being in the great outdoors - camping, hiking and fishing. I am looking forward to representing the club in parades and grand entries throughout the summer with my Palomino Quarter Horse Dazzle!

Hello, my name is Savanna Seat. I am 11 years old and I live in Berthoud, Colorado. I am delighted to represent the Johnstown Saddle Club as Attendant in 2008. The royalty before me has made a grand mark in the JSC and I hope to continue that. I was born around horses and have lived with them all my life making it impossible for me not to love horses! I have a wonderful horse named Penny, that shares the pleasures with me in shows, gymkhanas and parades. When I’m not riding (which is very rare!) you will find me on a soccer field or just having fun with friends! I hope everyone will have fun and enjoy the upcoming year, in the saddle or taking a nice furry ride bareback!

Hi, my name is Madison Wilkins. I am proud to be the Princess for 2008. I am 12 years old and live in Johnstown where I am a 7th grader at Knowledge Quest Academy. I enjoy riding and showing my horse, Creek. I also play volleyball and I’m on the swim team for Valley. I enjoy spending time at home with my family and all of our farm animals which include horses, cows, pygmy goats, dogs and cats. I am very honored to represent the Johnstown Saddle Club as their 2008 Princess.
